"Cuenco de membrillos" - La foto no está preparada. Hace unos días un vecino regaló unos membrillos a mi mujer y los dejó ahí, en el cuenco que está normalmente en la mesa del porche. Yo solo tuve que esperar unas horas a que bajara el sol y proporcionase la luz que yo quería.

"Bowl of quinces" - The photo is not setup. A few days ago a neighbour gave a few quinces to my wife and she left them there, in the bowl that is normally on the table in the front porch. I only had to wait a few hours for the Sun to go down and provide the light I wanted.

"Otra vez 'mi' monasterio" - Sí, durante mi última vuelta en bici hace ocho días. Puedes ver diferentes vistas AQUI. (Mejor verla lo más grande que puedas y desde una distancia).

"Again 'my' monastery" - Yes, during my last bike ride eight days ago. You can see diffferent views HERE. (Best seen the largest you can and from a distance).

"Un puñado de hojas" - "A handful of leafs"

"¡Voolaaare!" - El muy idiota dijo que él podía volar con su bicicleta y, sin más, saltó del helicóptero. ;-)
(Si no estás familiarizado con la canción italiana 'Volare', pincha AQUI).

"Voolaaare!" - This idiot said he could fly with his bicycle and just jumped off the helicopter. ;-)

"Sí, sí. Otro Diente de León" - Me ha llamado la atención la combinación de colores con el fondo y eso es lo que he querido resaltar. De ahí el efecto de suave desenfoque.

"Yes, yes. Another Dandelion" - It was the combination of colors with the background what called my attention and that's what I wanted to highlight. That's the reason for the soft focus effect.

"Mi única libélula" - Sí, es la primera vez en mi vida que fotografío una. Estaba limpiando la piscina y se posó en el extremo del palo del limpiafondos. Tuvo la amabilidad de esperar a que entrase en casa a por la cámara y le hiciese esta foto. Que no me acaba de gustar por el ángulo (tenía un arbusto detrás y el seto a la izquierda) y porque la cabeza no tiene buen foco. Pero como es la primera y, hasta ahora única... :-) (No es un macro, está hecha con el zoom más largo que tengo).

"My only dragonfly" - Yes, it is the first time in my life that I take a shot of one. I was cleaning the pool when she landed on the cleaner pole. She was kind enough to wait till I went into the house to get the camera and took the shot. That I am not too satisfied with because of the angle (I had a bush behind and the hedge on my left) and because the head is not in good focus, But since it is my first and, so far, the only one... :-) (It's not a macro, it was taken with my longest zoom).

"¿Y qué puedo hacer yo? (II)" - ¿Si mientras estoy sentado, haciendo algo que nadie más puede hacer por mi, 'veo' esta foto? No, no salir corriendo a coger la cámara, tuve que esperar un ratito y, además, re-componer la escena ;-)

"What can I do about it? (II)" - If while sitted, doing something no one else can do for me, I 'see' this photo? No, not run to get the camera, I had to wait a little while and even 're-compose' the scene. ;-)

¡No es justo! - ¿Por qué el lugar de nacimiento tiene que condicionar las expectativas de vida y futuro de nadie?

It's not fair! - Why must place of birth determine anyone's expectations for life and future?
