"Autumn is leaving us" - Yes, today, and this is about the only Autumn shot I have taken this Autumn, and one of the few photos I have taken these past few months. Hoy, de casualidad, he vuelto a ver el original y me gusta mucho más. "Valmayor Reservoir (original)" - Last June 14th I posted THIS VERSION of the same shot. I don't remember exactly why I did that versions and why I posted it. Today I happened to see the original and I like it much better.

MAU > 10-10-2011 "Mi única libélula" - Sí, es la primera vez en mi vida que fotografío una. Estaba limpiando la piscina y se posó en el extremo del palo del limpiafondos. Tuvo la amabilidad de esperar a que entrase en casa a por la cámara y le hiciese esta foto. Que no me acaba de gustar por el ángulo (tenía un arbusto detrás y el seto a la izquierda) y porque la cabeza no tiene buen foco. Pero como es la primera y, hasta ahora única... :-) (No es un macro, está hecha con el zoom más largo que tengo). "My only dragonfly" - Yes, it is the first time in my life that I take a shot of one. I was cleaning the pool when she landed on the cleaner pole. She was kind enough to wait till I went into the house to get the camera and took the shot. That I am not too satisfied with because of the angle (I had a bush behind and the hedge on my left) and because the head is not in good focus, But since it is my first and, so far, the only one... :-) (It's not a macro, it was taken with my longest zoom).

No es un macro, está hecha con la focal más larga de un zoom, a la distancia mínima de enfoque y sin trípode. (Mejor ver a tamaño grande) "Jimena" - I met her this summer in a corner of my garden. She was with us for a couple of weeks and then disappeared. It's not a macro, it was taken at the longest focal of a zoom, at the minimum focusing distance and with no tripod. (Best viewed at large size)
MAU > 03-10-2011 "Música en vivo" - Hace más de tres meses que publiqué mi última sopita y creo que en su momento expliqué las razones dejaba todo lo relacionado con la fotografía. El caso es que en todo el verano, aparte de alguna fotos familiares (sobrinos en la piscina y cosas así), no habré hecho más de una docena de fotos. Hoy me he decidido a empezar a publicarlas a ver si así me animo a retomar el hábito de la foto diaria. Ya veremos. "Live music" - It's been over three months since I posted my last "soup" and I think I then explained the reasons why I did put aside everything related to photography. The thing is that in all summer, aside of some family pictures (nephews in the pool, etc.), I think I have not taken more that a dozen photos or so. Today I have decided to start posting them to see if, this way, I will retake my habit of a daily "soup". We'll see.
