"Un Dragon Rapide de los años 30 sobrevuela mi casa" - La primera foto está hecha a primeros del mes de junio de 2009. Le oí venir y al ver que era un biplano y que no venía excesivamente alto para mi zoom, entré en casa a por la cámara e hice la foto. Como no es gran cosa, la tenía como posible 'sopita' por si algún día no tenía nada mejor o del propio día. Hace un par de semanas (hoy es 6-09-2009), revisando el 'stock' de posibles sopitas la vi y se me ocurrió buscar la matrícula G-AEML en Google y, entre otras referencias, encontré ESTA y luego ESTA que explican bien el tipo de avión del que se trataba, y es lo que me decidió a publicarla como 'sopita', no por la foto en si sino por el 'peculiar' objeto fotografiado y la ocasión única que había tenido.Sin embargo, hace un par de días se repitió la ocasión y en mejores condiciones

As the photo was nothing special as such, I had it as a possible 'soup' just in case some day I didn't have anything better for my dailies. A couple of weeks ago (today is 6-Sep-2009), revising my 'stock' of possible dailies, I saw it and decided to search Google for the G-AEML aircraft registration and, among other references, I found THIS and later THIS which explain quite well what kind of plane it was and made me decide to publish it as a 'soup', not because of the photo as such but because of the quite unique object photographed and the unique opportunity I had had. However, just a couple of days ago the opportunity repeated and with better conditions.
